AP registration for the classes of Fall 2025 closes in two weeks on October 31, and to avoid risking the late fee, students should register sooner rather than later. The portal to register and pay can be accessed here.
AP exams are tests of students’ knowledge from their learning throughout the semester. During the first two full weeks of May, each AP class will have either a morning or afternoon exam, and the exact dates can be found through this link. The exams are graded from 1 to 5, and if students get a 3 or above, they have the potential of receiving college credit, which will save money in the long run.
This year, AP exams cost $99, and late registration will cost an additional $40. However, if a student believes they qualify for a fee waiver, they should consult with their appropriate counselor about receiving details to apply for one. Additionally, students will be waived for one STEM-based exam each year.
For further questions, students should either consult with Dr. Wood, their AP teacher, or the official AP website. Study well and take advantage of the opportunity.
