The PTSA Reflections contest concluded last week. While the submissions are being judged, students have the choice to have a glimpse at all the wonderful creative pieces that their peers have been their heart and souls into.

At the far end of the media center when entering from the cafeteria, all submissions have been lined up along the bookshelves. Although the pieces have a wide variety from artworks to 3D models to literary works, they all pertain to a common theme: belonging.
The ceremony for the winners will take place after school on December 11th, and subsequently, the submissions will be taken off the wall and returned to their owners. The 1st and 2nd place submissions will be moved up to the regional level, which includes North Cobb High School, Allatoona High School, Harrison High School, and Kennesaw Mountain High School. The entries from this second round will be judged by January, and the 1st place submission will go to the state level. Finally, the state level winners will be decided in April.
If students are interested in participating next year, they should contact [email protected]. Until then, be sure to congratulate all of this year’s participants!
