Being a senior can be stressful for most people. You’re so close to finally graduating and completing this chapter of your life, but there are so many new things to navigate and get ahead of. In light of that, I am going to share some helpful information to help you navigate this point in time.
Start everything earlier than you think
Amid so many deadlines and expectations, doing everything ahead of time may seem unnecessary. However, it is ultimately important not to let things pile up and to give yourself space to process all the tasks required of you rather than drowning in them.
Discuss things with people who have gone through it
Because of the novelty of college applications and preparations, talking to someone older than you who has also gone through the college application process and can tell you about their experience can be beneficial. They could also give you personal advice.
Remember to do fun things
Considering that college applications are as important as they are scary, it is important to still do things that bring you joy and lift your spirits when you are anxious. Even just going on a walk or talking with friends is enough to help.
