We pleased to share exciting news with the Kennesaw Mountain Community released over Thanksgiving Break. The Kennesaw Mountain High School Band is a 2023 Division Winner of the Program of Excellence Blue Ribbon Award presented by the National Band Association! This distinction is awarded to band programs dedicated to the attainment of a high level of musical excellence in all areas of their organization. Open to every high school and middle school across the nation, Kennesaw Mountain was one of eight schools recognized for the 2023-2024 school year. The National Band Association conducts a comprehensive review of application materials, recordings, achievements, programs, repertoire, and student musicianship. Congratulations to the KM students who are the definition of dedication and demonstrate the work ethic to meet these incredibly high standards.
