The Kennesaw Mountain Marching Band competed at Troy University, putting on their most remarkable and stunning show yet, winning them second place overall.
The band has worked very hard over the past 3 months to perform their show titled “Where You Are Now.” They put in countless long, tiring hours to make the show happen.
The result of Kennesaw’s hard work paid off immensely—the band won second overall, with first only having .05 points more than the band. They also won the “Most Outstanding Visual” and “Most Outstanding Musical” award.
“It was a really fun experience I got to have, I loved performing, spending time with the band and my section, and I loved meeting all the other bands there too!” Cyprus Epperson, a freshman trumpet who preformed stated. “I can’t wait for next year.”
Overall, the band had a very special experience, and put on the best performance they could ask for. It was the last show of the season, and it’s a show that will never be forgotten.
