As always, our school’s incredible theater program (led by Mrs. Dawn Parker) was invited to attend the Georgia Thespian Conference – the world’s largest gathering of high school Thespians! This is an annual event in Columbus, GA that features workshops, performances, individualized competitions, and opportunities to earn college scholarships or recognition.
After the conference, the ThesCon team selects members for the All-State Theater based on students’ individual performances during the event. Notably, KMHS has had students selected for this accolade for 7 years in a row! We are very proud of our students (and Mrs. Parker) for their dedication to the program and hard work to achieve their goals.

- Lake Horgan – 3rd year in a row being selected for the closing showcase for her Costume Design Thespy
- Rita Starks & Lake Horgan – State Thespy Winners (top 30 out of 646 entries!)

- Nolan Jinks, Q’eyon Randolph-Prince, Imani Smith, Rita Starks, Lake Horgan – AllState Theatre
