KMHS Scores a 2nd Place Trophy at Regional Reading Bowl
The Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl is a quiz bowl-style competition that tests students’ knowledge of the books they have read. The list of books is pulled from the well-respected Georgia’s Children and Young Adult Book Award Nominees (cobbk12.org).
The purpose of this organization is to promote independent reading and togetherness. Each participating school is allowed to select just 5 students as members on the team! With over 1,800 students at Kennesaw Mountain High School, to be asked to join the club by our county-renowned librarian, Dr. Valerie Bryan is such a high achievement!
That being said, please congratulate the following Team Members if you see them (L to R):
- Sarah Sadegh (9)
- Irma Drice (10)
- Miranda Andrade (10)
- Semiat Olanigan (9)
- Evan Reames (10)
