“Decorating gingerbread houses gave everyone a good laugh, and created an easy-going, competitive atmosphere,” said junior Kyra Pfeifer.

Here’s five holiday party activities that will mistle-your-toe!

  1. Decorate gingerbread houses

Gather the gumdrops, peppermints, and jellybeans and see who can decorate the best house in 15 minutes!

  1. White elephant gift exchange

All party guests bring a silly present, no more than $15, to exchange with a randomly picked partner!

  1. Guess this Christmas Song

Play all the Christmas hits, from Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” to Pentatonix’s “That’s Christmas to Me.” Whoever can guess the song first wins their very own candy cane!

  1. Christmas Photo Booth

Decorate a wall with a winter wonderland theme and grab the Santa hats, reindeer ears, and elf ears to have a fun Christmas themed photo booth!

  1. Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest

Everyone come dressed in your ugliest sweater! The person with the ugliest sweater wins.

Following these five simple Christmas party ideas will have everyone begging for an invitation next year, and you will be the talk of your neighborhood!
